You will be informed of the cost of the residential trip by your child’s school. There are no hidden extras - the price includes full board, accommodation, instruction, use of specialist clothing and equipment. Each child may need a small amount of pocket money for the tuck shop and souvenirs, but we ask you to bring no more than £5-£10.

What about staff and safety?
Instruction is given by fully trained staff working under the National Governing Body Standards within the guidelines of our Standard Operating Procedures as laid out in our AALA Licence (AALA Ref: R1166 www.aala.org.uk).
Please see the ‘Safety’ section of the website for further information.

What sort of clothes does my child need?
A suggested ‘Kit-List’ is available here.

Can my child phone home?
We do not encourage home phone calls - should your child need to contact you in an emergency they will be able to use the phone in the Main Office. Please do not send mobile phones with your child to Ardmay House.

When should I pay?
You child’s school will contact you with payment details.

What happens if I cancel?
You pay a non-refundable deposit of £20 for each child on a multi-activity course, which you would lose if you cancelled your child’s booking. You are liable to pay the full fee unless we are notified of your cancellation in writing more than 28 days before the arrival date.

What about personal insurance?
Ardmay Ltd. is not liable for personal injury or loss or damage to your property unless caused by the Company’s negligence or wilful default.

What if my child leaves anything behind?
We make every effort to ensure that all personal property is taken before a group leaves Ardmay House. We regret that property left behind can only be returned after receipt of agreed postage and packing charges. Lost Property is held until the end of each term after which it is taken to a local charity shop.
