Safety at Ardmay

Your pupils’ safety is our priority.

Every activity is planned and delivered with safety at its heart, so pupils can take on new challenges in a secure, well-supervised environment.

Pupil safety

Experienced people, clear procedures and thoughtful supervision give pupils the confidence to try something new while schools have the reassurance they need.

Qualified instructors

Our activities are led by experienced, qualified instructors who hold relevant national governing body awards and first aid training.

Risk assessed

All activities and sites are risk assessed, with equipment regularly checked and maintained to recognised standards.

Safe supervision

We maintain appropriate staffing ratios and clear supervision throughout the day and overnight in our residential accommodation.

First aid

Qualified first aiders are on site and instructors carry first aid provision on all off-site activities.

Safeguarding

The wellbeing and safeguarding of every young person is central to everything we do, supported by clear policies and trained staff.

Policies on request

Full risk assessments, insurance details and safeguarding policies are available to schools on request ahead of your visit.
