What Should I Bring?

A little preparation goes a long way. Simple guidance to help pupils arrive ready to make the most of every activity.

Dress for the outdoors

Scottish weather can change quickly, so bring warm layers and waterproofs. Old clothes that can get wet and muddy are perfect — nothing new or precious.

Footwear

Sturdy trainers or walking boots for activities, plus a spare pair in case the first gets wet, and something comfortable for indoors.

Stay warm and dry

Plenty of spare socks and underwear, a warm hat and gloves, and a waterproof jacket and trousers are essential whatever the season.

The essentials

Toiletries, a towel, any medication (clearly labelled and handed to staff on arrival), a refillable water bottle and a small day bag.
